![]() ![]() Reference grids can be applied to rectangular map frames only. How I measured: I took a marker such as an ammo resupply point or radio as a reference, and positioned myself relative to one grid square away from it and noted how far I was away, using the largest map zoom that I could. Each column and row is labeled, allowing every square in the grid to have a unique identifier. Click and drag to trace a 3x3 (three across & three down) square box aligned with the grid on your map. Right Click on your map image and choose Advanced -> Align to Grid. Might be useful for mortar users, or might not be useful at all! Make sure you are on the Map & Background layer. I have heard this asked a few times on the forum, so I was bored and took a look.
